A sensação mecânica está esclarecida?
O pesquisador David Corey e colaboradores Da Universidade de Harvard sugerem que o canal iônico do tipo TRP TRPA1, é forte candidato a mecanotransdutor em cílios do ouvido interno. A partir deste dado, sugere-se que este canal poderia ser também o transdutor da informação mecânica em outros locais do sistema somatosensorial.
